Sekhmet Solstice Ritual, December 20, 2018, 8PM to 9:30PM @ In Light Yoga and Health
The wisdom of Winter teaches us how essential it is to withdraw into quietude, to slow down, to "germinate", in order that renewal take place. In the northern hemisphere, it is a time of long dark, cold nights, and a time of bare trees.
Winter Solstice is a sacred day, an energetically powerful transition point between seasons. Astronomically it marks the shortest day and longest night of the year.
Let the Goddess Sekhmet warm you with her cleansing fire! Come and join Ra Sekhi Energy Medicine Priestess MutShat Shemsut-Gianprem Kaur and Practitioner Andrea Counts Richardson as we prepare you, on Thursday, for the Winter Solstice of Friday December 21st. It is an end-of-the-year celebration of YOU and your gift of the breath of life. Through hekau (words of power), guided meditation and ritual, we will clear our auras, align our energies and mentally and spiritually prepare for 2019 and the movement from darkness to light.
You will leave with a hand-out for a meditation to practice on the Friday Solstice.
You will leave feeling lighter and uplifted.
